We recently unveiled the latest addition to our “Deliveries for a Cause” campaign–a truck covered in beautifully colored puzzle pieces to honor autism awareness.
Working with the Anderson Center for Autism in Staatsburg, NY, we designed a truck that we believe reflects the heart-warming spirit of our community and the incredible work that the Anderson Center does every day. Its brilliant red, yellow, and blue tones also make it a fitting garage companion for our Pink Truck, which benefits the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation.
Proceeds from every gallon we deliver with our new Autism Awareness truck will go to the Anderson Center, whose 800 specialists provide the highest quality programs possible for children and adults with autism.
“The Porco family believes in supporting the communities we serve,” says Joe Porco. “When we were ready to dedicate another truck, we decided that the Anderson Center for Autism was another large local organization doing excellent work, and that we wanted to support them through our second Deliveries for a Cause Truck. We sincerely hope that it will prompt people throughout our delivery area to give generously to the Anderson Center for Autism.”
Please visit AndersonCenterForAutism.org to learn more about all the great work it does!
Our pink truck is designed to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and to provide financial assistance for testing for those in need. Porco Energy will donate a portion of the proceeds for each delivery this truck makes to the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation.
Breast cancer is the leading cause of death for women age 35 to 50. Early detection is the key to survival. The Porco family and staff at Porco Energy support the communities we serve. This is one small way of doing that. Debbie Porco and Michele Craig, pictured with our pink truck above are actively involved with fundraising activities for breast cancer.
