Much like your car, your heating and cooling systems work hard all season and require regular maintenance.
A tune-up keeps your heating and central air systems working efficiently, which can cut annual energy use by as much as 10%. It also ensures that your heating system operates safely, which helps prevent dangerous levels of carbon monoxide.
Preventive maintenance also allows us to identify small problems before they turn into big ones. And you can expect a well-maintained system to last longer than one that is not taken care of.
We encourage our customers to schedule their tune-up well in advance of the heating or cooling season. For heating systems, the best time to contact us is late summer; for cooling systems, the best time to call is April or May. Remember: tune-ups do not “wear off,” so there is no reason to wait until the last minute and find that you may have to wait longer for an appointment.
